Originally belonged to Detergent Division of Formosa Chemicals & fiber Co., it was enlarged to set up "Formosa Biomedical Technology Co." in January 2004, and also one of the biggest detergent manufacturer in Taiwan with the accumulated experience of the research of detergent products and production for nearly 35 years and successively manufacturing all sorts of cleaning products for plenty of cleaner manufacturers at home and abroad. Obtaining the affirmation from "international" subcontracting manufacturers no matter in the research of ingredients, the designing development of packageing, quality control or the mass production of all sorts of products, we have achieved the top-ranking level in products development and production.

For the past several decades We have continuously released cleaner products of many kinds like「Hsi-Pao」、「SHEN-YEN」、「Tai-Li」 , prevalent and popular among the consuming publics. Having extendedly set up "Formosa Biomedical Technology Co." in 2004, we started to develop the most representative cleaner products of the prevailing tradition of "Formosa Plastic Group" with the most pragmatic attitude under the spiritual inspiration of company policy - "To do either the best or nothing"

In conformity with the "Formosa Plastic Group" principle-"Down to the Ground", "Formosa Biomedical Technology Co." constantly proceeds with the development of detergent products of all kinds, the promotion and the tempering of production techniques, and after a long-time and strict ingredients testing research, releases "Formosa Series" detergent products, the uniquely released serial products by the Detergent Division of "Formosa Plastic Group" with its accumulated experiences of production, development, and techniques improving for the past several decades, providing all the customers the choice of cleaning appliances with best quality.

Having set up the factory in 1965, we started producing artificial fiber (Rayon Staple Fiber) and "Mirabilite", one of the main raw materials of Powder Detergent (20~30%)deriving high purity, derives form its producing process. To effectively make use of that material, we invest lots of money in building up detergent factories to produce traditional Powder Detergent, and more in adding successive sulfonation facilities for the production of sulfonic acid.

Because of the complete producing facilities, we had become the biggest Powder Detergent manufacturer at home, and the OEM of several well-known firms in the country.
