Symptoms

¡@Major clinic symptoms are continuous pain or soreness, joint stiffness in the morning or intensified pain and sore when the weather is getting colder. Major symptoms are pain and tenderness. Swelling soft tissue around joints may cause difficult movement occasionally in some movements like sitting, standing or squatting. Patients may make noise from friction of joints when moving. Or patients may feel intensified pain in the thighs or knees when walking or having overuse of exercise. At last, related muscle groups would lack strength so as to cause atrophy because of lack in exercise to prevent from compressing pain (crushing pain). Then spurs are formed that results in malformation of joints finally. It may oppress peripheral tissues like nerves. Degenerative spines would cause obvious vertebral subluxation. When pathological tissue changes plus malposition (dislocation) both compress nerve roots, symptoms of sciatica would happen. Those symptoms include numbness, causalgia, and throbbing pain of the whole lower limbs. Compression of cauda equine may cause sphincter dysfunction. In general, simple exercise and physical therapy can reduce the symptoms and prevent intensification. If the symptoms are getting intensified, joint malformation would emerge and muscle would lack strength. Severe symptoms would cause difficult walking, limitation of daily movements. Patients then may need to transplant artificial joints.
