Precaution
Degenerative affects much on your living quality. Therefore, everyone should take care of its joints. There are six items below for daily care:
1. Keeping fitness to lessen burden of spines and joints of the lower limbs.
2. Proper rest: Preventing from long-time standing or walking. Taking proper rest after exercise.
3. Appropriate exercise: Appropriate exercise can increase strength of peripheral muscles and solidify (fix) joints so as to keep normal muscle strength. Suggested exercise includes swimming, riding bicycle and others that need less load-bearing.
4. Avoid exercises that would intensify pains in the local joints. Those joint-suffering exercises include squat, kneeling down, bending your back, climbing steps, climbing mountains (hiking), lifting heavy stuff and having a long walk. They may increase wearing-away of joints.
5. When necessary, using a walking stick or a walker to reduce burden of joints.
6. When syndromes are intensified, you have to stop exercises immediately and consult with doctors or therapists.
